For those who are adolescents, they may have a stunt in their growth, and bones, muscles, and joints may not reach their full maturity.

For those who are abusing steroids, it may be necessary to seek treatment. The treatment should address the emotional need of taking it and how much you are taking. It will also help the person to get off of the steroids and stay off. As far as how the abuse is identified, your doctor may ask you what your fitness activities are and if you are taking substances and dietary supplements. He or she may also perform urine and blood tests and a physical examination.

Those who are abusing the drugs and then decide to get off them may experience withdrawal. Those symptoms may include extreme tiredness, depression, decreased strength, weight loss because of a lack of appetite.
